Immersive tag

This chart shows the amount of games released over the years with the Immersive tag and the percentage of games released on Steam they account for. The number of releases gives an appreciation of the quantity of games published each year. It often tends to increase naturally, just like the total amount of Steam games released.

The percentage, on the other hand, gives a better idea of the trend a tag follows. It shows if, in proportion, the Immersive tag is getting more or less popular from a developer's perspective. The Review chart will tell us if this trend is a good thing (i.e. players interest is increasing, tag is undercrowded) or if it's the opposite.

The Immersive game tag peaked in 2021 with 46 games released. The popularity of the tag is in a range between 0.11% in 2010 and 0.0039% in 2015.

Keep in mind that the current year is not over, so the number of games released will still increase. But the percentage is usually a good estimate.
